EASE US PARTITION MANAGER

If you have assembled a new PC then you will need some help while partitioning your hard disk and selecting its type. but this page will end all of your questions.
If your data is deleted because of some software malfunctioning then you can use recuva data recovery wizard.

1. Disk partition styles- MBR and GPT.
MBR- Master Boot record - This is i think best disk type as OS can install on it easily without their special feature, Efi boot. in India most of computers use MBR disk types as it satisfy their needs of partitions.
1. If you have hard disk less than 2 TB then it is good for you.
2. It can create 4 primary partitions on a disk. but if you want more partitions then you can create 3 primary partitions and 1 extended partition in which you can make as many as you want Logical partition as per your need and don't worry OS can be installed in logical partition.
3.If your mother board only support BIOS mode instead of UEFI mode then you have no other choice instead using MBR partition scheme.
If you have GPT disk and you liked MBR disk then you can convert your GPT disk to MBR by EASE US PARTITION MANAGER BOOTABLE CD.
GPT- GUID Partition table-
It is modern day partition style as it support hard disks of more than 2 TB capacities. It can make 128 primary gpt partitions on hard disk.
specifications and needs-
1. OS should be 64-bit (WINDOWS 64-BIT).
2. Mother board should support UEFI boot.
2. You should have EFI bootable disk of your os.
You can convert your hard disk to GPT using EASE US PARTITION MANAGER.
EBR-Extended Boot Record-
This is technical name of Extended partition we discussed in mbr disk.An extended boot record (EBR),[1] or extended partition boot record (EPBR),[note 1] is a descriptor for a logical partition under the common DOS disk drive partitioning system.[2] In that system, when one (and only one) partition record entry in the master boot record (MBR) is designated an extended partition, then that partition can be subdivided into a number of logical partitions.
2. Types of disks -
Basic disk- Basic disk can create primary and logical partitions on it.
os can be installed on any partition. dual os system can be created.
Dynamic disk- It is microsoft style of disk in which you can create many simple volumes,spanned volumes,stripped volumes,mirrord volumes and RAID-5 volumes. But converting disk to dynamic disk might make your disk unbootable.
you can convert your basic disk to dynamic disk with disk management in windows-
right click on disk you want to convert and select convert to dynamic disk.
Multi boot and Mixed boot-
Multi-boot systems are computers where the user can boot into one of two or more distinct operating systems (OS) stored in separate storage devices or in separate partitions of the same storage device. In such systems a menu at startup gives a choice of which OS to boot/start (and only one OS at a time is loaded).
This is distinct from virtual operating systems, in which one operating system is run as a self-contained virtual "program" within another already-running operating system. (An example is a Windows OS "virtual machine" running from within a Linux OS.)
Partition Alignment-
Partition alignment is the proper alignment of partitions to the boundaries available in a data storage device.
You can use Mini Tool Partition wizard to Align your partition or disk.
File systems-
In computing, a file system (or filesystem) is used to control how data is stored and retrieved. Without a file system, information placed in a storage area would be one large body of data with no way to tell where one piece of information stops and the next begins. By separating the data into pieces and giving each piece a name, the information is easily isolated and identified. Taking its name from the way paper-based information systems are named, each group of data is called a "file". The structure and logic rules used to manage the groups of information and their names is called a "file system".

FAT-
The family of FAT file systems is supported by almost all operating systems for personal computers, including all versions of Windows and MS-DOS/PC DOS and DR-DOS. (PC DOS is an OEM version of MS-DOS, MS-DOS was originally based on SCP's 86-DOS. DR-DOS was based on Digital Research's Concurrent DOS, a successor of CP/M-86.) The FAT file systems are therefore well-suited as a universal exchange format between computers and devices of most any type and age.
Over the years, the file system has been expanded from FAT12 to FAT16 and FAT32. Various features have been added to the file system including subdirectories, codepage support, extended attributes, and long filenames.

NTFS, Introduced with the Windows NT operating system in 1993,allowed ACL-based permission control. Other features also supported by NTFS include hard links, multiple file streams, attribute indexing, quota tracking, sparse files, encryption, compression, and reparse points.

But if you want to change your os then you have to lost your gameplays and install new version of bluestacks. but now you don't need to lose your scores. here is the way by which you can get your old bluestacks.
you should have online bluestacks.
step 1-press windows+r (run) and copy this text-C:\programdata and press enter
step 2-copy two folders named 1.bluestacks setup 2.BlueStacks from program data to any of your location on other disk.
step 3-install new window and then once again open folder as in step 1.
step 4-now paste 2 folders that you copied in step 2 to this folder.
step 5-now close folder and run bluestacks online setup.
after bluestacks installation run it. for some time it will show downloading game data but soon it show inialising and open your old bluestacks.
